X-ray services for any need
An X-ray is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions by producing pictures of the inside of the body. X-rays are the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging, and we are proud to offer a full range of X-ray services at most EVDI locations.
Arthrography
Arthrography is a test that enables the physician to examine the soft tissue structures of a joint, including tendons, ligaments, cartilage, muscles and the joint capsule. This test can be done on the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist or jaw.
DXA Bone Densitometry
Bone density scanning is an enhanced form of X-ray technology that is used to evaluate the density of the bone and determine if there is any bone loss. As such, DXA is most often used to diagnose osteoporosis. Most frequently, the patient’s hip and lumbar spine are scanned during this procedure, although sometimes the wrist is used.
