MRI Technologist

EVDI Medical Imaging, an affiliate of Southwest Diagnostic Imaging, is seeking  fulltime skilled and experienced MRI Technologists to work in the East Valley (Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Country Club and Gilbert). Come join our team!!

Qualified Candidate will:

  • Competently perform Neuro, Orthopedic, Abdominal, Breast, Vascular, MRI exams on 3T and 1.5 scanners.
  • Use cognitive MRI skills to identify, record, and adopt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
  • Use independent judgement and demonstrates knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technology.
  • Assume responsibility for the safety and comfort of the patient while they are in your care.
  • Prepare accurate documentation and billing within our radiology information system.
  • Maintain MRI equipment and work area, and maintain adequate supplies.
  • Establish and maintain ethical working relationships and good rapport with all co-workers and referring offices.
  • Qualified candidate will float between all sites and all shifts.

Required Education:

  • MRI certification or eligible for MRI certification
  • ARRT-R or ARRT- MRI
  • Minimum 2 years MRI experience.
  • Valid CPR

QC Technologist/Mammographer

EVDI Medical Imaging is accepting resumes for a F/T QC Technologist/Mammographer to float between our Imaging Centers – East Valley (Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Country Club and Gilbert).

QC Technologist responsibilities are as follows:

  • Is involved in yearly MQSA State Inspections
  • Apply for FDA certifications
  • Maintains EQUIP certification
  • Maintains yearly ACR updates for each site
  • Acquires ACR Re Accreditations every 3 years for 10 units at 6 sites
  • Weekly QA/QC on all Mammography equipment
  • Reviews weekly phantoms in PACS
  • Reviews Dr.’s workstations/have daily, monthly, and yearly tests that are documented and recorded directly onto the workstation
  • Resolves equipment issues as they arise, is the contact person for all Hologic service calls
  • Work with Physicist
  • Coordinate Hologic PM’s with Service Engineer
  • Schedules Physicists Annual testing on all units
  • Responsible for keeping track of credentials and renewals for Mammography Technologists and Radiologists and Physicists.
  • Making sure numbers are maintained for all to be MQSA compliant
  • Visit all sites to review QC books throughout the year

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities are as follows:

  • QC/QA experience preferred

File Clerk – CMR

Required Credentials:
